> DESCRIPTION
Museum 52 are pleased to present an exhibition of works that explore painting and the human figure. The exhibition will consist entirely of new works.

Benjamin Degen has exhibited widely in the US and abroad, this recently includes: St. Barts,
Museum 52 London, Collezione Maramotti, Italy and The Nerman MoCA, Kansas. In May he curated Off The Books an exhibition, with accompanying catalogue, that explored the meeting of abstraction and representation in text. He had a solo show with Guild and Greyshkul in 2008. He is represented in London by Museum 52.

Anya Kielar has recently exhibited at 176, the Zabludowicz Collecton, London, Casey Kaplan Gallery, New York, and is in collections internationally. Her work was recently included in a major volume exploring contemporary collage: 'Collage: Constructing Contemporary Art' by Black Dog Publishing.

Julia Goldman last exhibited with Museum 52 New York in 2008. She graduated from Columbia University in the same year. She lives and works in New York.

Dana Schutz has had recent solo exhibitions at Zach Feuer Gallery, New York and Contemporary Fine Arts, Berlin. She has participated in numerous museum shows including Saints and Sinners, Rose Art Museum, Waltham, MA in 2009 and After Nature, New Museum, New York in 2008. She is represented in New York by Zach Feuer Gallery.
