The American premiere of the exhibition Transmitting Energy: A Contemporary Metaphor - Winners of the Terna Prize for Contemporary Art, on display at the Chelsea Art Museum June 26th - July 11th, 2009, features works by Italy's most exciting contemporary artists, the first recipients of this new award.  The Terna Prize was created by Terna, Italy's major energy transmission grid operator, to recognize the most promising emerging and influential established artists. The works on view, including nine photographs, three paintings and four mixed media works, have only been previously exhibited at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome.
