In the Project Room, Frederieke Taylor Gallery presents The Error Chain, works on paper by Benjamin Britton. In these colorful watercolor and gouache works on paper, Britton creates vibrant and moving forces woven with detailed drawn patterns and loose, gestural brushwork. "The Error Chain" is a chain of events leading to a catastrophic failure or accident. Moving easily between abstraction and allegory, both in the evidence of process and other formal elements, Benjamin Britton’s works are inspired by historical events and personal disasters.

Benjamin Britton is currently living and working in Los Angeles, California. His works have been included in several shows at Frederieke Taylor Gallery. The artist has been included in several group shows in and around Los Angeles, CA. He received his MFA from UCLA and his BFA from School of Visual Arts in New York.
