“Deep Dive.  Journey Beyond the Surface” will open Sunday, July 5th, 2009 at The Design Studio at 2393 Main Street in Bridgehampton, NY.

Opening Reception from 2 pm - 6 pm will include bubbly cocktails and tapas.

Curated by Lisa Cooper and Joan Daidone of Elisa Tucci Contemporary Art, the exhibit is the vision of four contemporary female artists as they explore the power, energy and transformational qualities of water. Using traditional, mixed and new media, they transport the viewer on a journey to waterscapes that are both familiar and otherworldly.  

The exhibit will feature a series of oil on wood paintings from Kauai-based artist Carol Bennett; mixed media "liquid landscapes" from California-based emerging artist Kimber Berry, Sensual waterscapes from LA "Flow Movement" co-founder Suzan Woodruff; and multi-media fusion paintings from established Hudson Valley artist, Rosalind Schneider.

5% of gallery commissions from sales will be donated to the Child Development Center of the Hamptons.
