> DESCRIPTION

In 2008 amid the effervescent mood of opening week at Le Rencontres d'Arles, photographers submit their work to the eye of international photography experts. They receive a critical appraisal of the work as well as tips and contacts to help their photographic practice and the distribution of their photographs.

At the end of each portfolio day the experts came up with their tops pick and six photogrpahers – Guillaume Amat, Harry Bowers, Margherita Crocco, Eva Frapiccini, Lucia Ganieva and Shai Kremer – were awareded a summer-long exhibition in the Grande Halle in Arles, France.

The Farmani Gallery is proud to exhibit works from the "Chouchou" (judges favorites) selections of the 2008 Les Rencontres d'Arles Photo Festival.
