When Venice of America celebrated its centennial in 2005, V-SCAPE began to curate a distinguished ongoing series of exhibitions honoring Venice and Surrounding Communities Arts Performances & Events.
It is hardly surprising that Hal’s inaugural gallery exhibition in its newly renovated private dining room, A Taste for Art – Food Drink and Film, is curated by V-SCAPE - opens during Art Walk Week - and will remain on view through October.
From Andy Warhol’s iconic Campbell soup cans, through Stanley Kubrick’s lens, to cutting-edge artists emerging today, the exhibition explores a universal theme from the perspective of painting, printmaking, sculpture, art objects and film.
All works are lent by artists, galleries and collectors within the V-SCAPE community.
