Rachel Beach
Lives and works in Brooklyn.
Rachel's work combines elements of painting and sculpture. The pieces use painted illusion to reflect back the structure of the sculptural object and vice versa; they are images of themselves. The merging of 3-dimensional form with the illusory space of painting destabilizes the visual perception of the viewer, asking them to consider how they see and what they believe.
Justin Scott Adian
Lives and works in New York.
Justin Scott Adian attended Rutgers University before moving to New York to pursue painting.
Justin's canvases vary in shape and size. By treating his painting sculpturally, Justin's work pushes the boundaries of both painting and sculpture.
Lyndsy Welgos
Brooklyn based artist working in both photography and sculpture.
Lyndsy's photography looks at the body as a structural form as opposed to a figure within a narrative. Her photographs reject the criticism that the photographic plane works only as a universal narrative. Her photographs embrace sculptural forms as opposed to seeking out a universal connection from within her subjects
