The Retail Pop-up Exhibit is presented by The Love Yourself Project

Love Yourself Store

Show Open October 23rd-January 25 2014

Opening October 24th 6-8 pm

The Love Yourself Project (LYP) offers a new change to its traditional merchandise. The Love Yourself Project has asked artists to make alternative designs for our typical LYP themed products. Retail Pop-up will premiere those new designs as well as be a retail shop in which to sell them.

Products will include, but not be limited to, tee shirts, posters, post cards, magnets, stickers and candles.

The proceeds from this exhibit will fund future projects for The Love Yourself Project.

The mission of the Love Yourself Project is to utilize the arts to celebrate and empower communities around the world, to spread a message of unconditional self-love. The Love Yourself Project is an artist collective that delivers creative arts programs directly to New York City. Through multi-medium art projects and workshops by partnering with local schools, community centers, after-school programs, and like-minded non-profit organizations, our goal is to guide others through the journey of self-discovery and self-love. We hope to inspire a discussion on the nature of self, and examine those formative forces, which either hinder or enhance our ability to love others and ourselves wholly.

Love Yourself Project seeks to organize and curate community art exhibitions to showcase the work of intergenerational artists who are traditionally under-represented. Shows may represent various themes within the framework of self-awareness, reflection and how that affects the world around us.
