In Discussion: Duane Michals and Cay Sophie Rabinowitz
Celebrating the publication of Michals' The Pittsburgh Poem

The artist will sign copies of his new book of poetry as well as the catalogue for his current exhibition, The Painted Photograph.

Duane Michals is a renowned innovator who has pushed the limits of photography since his emergence in New York in the 1960s. His new hand-painted tintypes and deconstructed, digitally-altered photographs are on view in Duane Michals: The Painted Photograph from through April 27.

Cay Sophie Rabinowitz is the founder and editor of OSMOS Magazine, which delivers unique contemporary perspectives on photography and the visual arts. She was also a cofounder of FANTOM Photographic Quarterly in 2009 and Senior Editor of Parkett Magazine from 1998-2007. She has served as Artistic Director of Art Basel and as a faculty member at Parsons The New School for Design and Columbia University.
