The Aish Center is thrilled to present Along The Bronx River, a series of landscape photographs by Nicholas Pollack. The series chronicles life along the twenty-four mile Bronx River, from it’s head at Kensico Dam in Valhalla, to it’s bottom where it tapers into the East River North of New York City. Pollack began this project in 2007 by taking solitary meditative strolls along the river and interacting with the residents living there. The landscapes in this series showcase abandoned, private, and forgotten spaces in the towns the Bronx River weaves through, highlighting their natural beauty.
