Canvas Paper and Stone Gallery, Essie Green Galleries and Strivers Gardens Gallery are pleased to announce a collaborative exhibition of the work of Betty Blayton in "So It Is With Us" Betty Blayton: 40 Years of Selected Works.

The Opening Reception will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2008 from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Canvas Paper and Stone Gallery located at 2611 Frederick Douglass Blvd, Studio 2N, New York, NY 10030. The collaborative Exhibition will run from July 31, 2008 through November 22, 2008.

This collaboration is a unique opportunity to present the full range of Ms. Blayton's work, from her early collages and prints to the round abstractions first developed in the late 1960s. A self-described "spiritual impressionist", Betty Blayton's brilliant round abstractions, some measuring 58 inches in diameter, reflect both a spiritual and artistic transcendence from her earlier representational work.
