The Department of Art at Hunter College is pleased to present an exhibition of recent works by the graduating MFA students. This exhibition divides the Hunter College/Times Square Gallery into individual spaces that represent the culmination of each of the 19 artists’ unique experience in Hunter College’s prestigious and competitive MFA program.
The exhibition will be on view from December 13, 2012–January 16th, 2013. A public opening reception will be held on Wednesday, December 12th, from 6–8 PM.
The Hunter College/Times Square Gallery, located at 450 West 41st Street, New York City.
The graduating students have organized two panel discussions that contextualize the exhibition. These panels will address questions of meaning, plurality, the evolving models of education, and greater issues of contemporaneity in art practice.
All events are free and open to the public.
