COOHAUS is proud to announce a solo exhibition by Okka Han.  The exhibition will feature recent paintings made between 2009 and 2011, as well as sculptures made from paper-mache and paint.  Her body of work engages the symbolic and the incorporating subject matter related to female identity and the oppositions that entails life/death...home, family and motherhood.
Okka Han was born in South Korea.  She received her MFA from Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles, CA.  Her work has been shown through out in Los Angeles, Seoul and New York.  She currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
