Sean Christopher Gallery is pleased to present "out of book" an exhibition of new works by Herb Vincent Peterson running July 5 through August 30, 2008. 

John James writes, "Peterson's explorations of personal and appropriated text create both an intimate and larger dialogue that bridges an understanding of the masculine anxieties and struggles of daily life. A true intersection of both the visual concerns of graphic design and conceptual art.” 

With just stepping into art world, Herb Vincent Peterson has begun to show promise for his large text based installations and works that involve participant interaction. Despite working in installation and video, Peterson’s work encompasses a broad spectrum of medias such as performance, still imagery, the internet, audio and collaborative elements. Shown nationally and internationally, recent exhibitions include, The University of Oxford, in Oxford London, Art Basel-Miami Fl, Scope Art Fair, Agora Contemporary-NY NY and the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center in San Antonio.
