This exhibition uncovers a diverse grouping of thirty-eight prints by twenty-nine artists spanning more than twenty-seven years. In their various styles, themes, and processes, these works exemplify the wide-ranging applications of printmaking techniques and their continued impact on contemporary art.
THE KENTLER FLATFILES were started as part of the gallery's inception in 1990. The Flatfiles, a compendium of artworks by over 200 artists, have become an important resource for artists, collectors, curators and the general public by stressing the importance of drawing and works on paper in contemporary art today. Curators are regularly invited to make selections from the Kentler Flatfiles for exhibitions.
