> DESCRIPTION

Born in 1977, Deki has spent most of her young life painting and drawing in her bedroom and repeating endlessly small flowers and faces designs. Her painting is a kind of miniature using her finger stamps and fine point brush, it shows her own fantasies and memories. After having a small solo show, she debut sensationally at "Ground Zero Japan" in Mito Art Tower 2000, is one of the most remarkable young artists in Japan. Since then, she had 4 solo shows and also participated in the Venice Architecture Biennial 2000, she was included for the 2003 Lyon Biennial and other notable international and domestic exhibitions.
