Dorsey Art Gallery Presents: 2+2 Art Show
When: Sunday March 25, 2012 @3pm (Program begins with introduction of featured artists at 6pm followed by a light reception.)
Where: The exhibit will take place at the Dorsey Art Gallery 553 Rogers Ave (corner of Lawrence P. Dorsey Way).
Why: The 2+2 Art Show will feature over 50 pieces of original works from two women plus two men, Ramona Candy, Mary Chang, Joseph Bell-Bey and Dudley Vaccianna. The works will include mediums ranging from oil on canvass, mixed media, chine colle, acrylic on canvass, monotypes to glass.
The closing reception will be held Sunday April 8th, 2012 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.

The Dorsey Art Gallery, established in 1970 by the late owner Lawrence Peter Dorsey of the oldest, continuously active, black-owned art gallery in New York City. The Dorsey Art Club created in 2003 is a committee of long-time friends of the gallery consisting of artists and collectors committed to the mission of promoting artists from communities of color though the hosting of exhibitions and special events at the gallery.
