Announcing the first three-dimensional exhibition to be held at GalleryBar in New York City, virtually-based Raandesk Gallery of Art presents "Baked Goods", new sculptures by New York artist Lisa Beckner, on view from June 18 – July 14, 2008.

Artist and sculptor Lisa Beckner is a type of 'kitchen scientist' that crafts recipes from non-traditional, natural ingredients, measured and mixed to create her 3-dimensional, small-scale figures. Beckner combines corn meal, starch and sugars to create her medium, to which she adds pigment for colorful and textural effects.
