Katherine Jackson discusses her glasswork and drawings with painter and FIT instructor Katherine Bradford. The two artists talk about the relation of etched glass to painting, the role of text–based imagery, and the process of abstraction. Jackson’s three-part site-specific exhibitions, Storylights, appear in the Fifth Avenue Reading Room on the 1st floor, Art Wall on Third on the 3rd floor and Art in the Windows on view day and night on Fifth Avenue and 40th Street. The event takes place in the new reading room on the 1st floor.

Initiated and organized by Arezoo Moseni in 2004, Artist Dialogues Series provide an open forum for understanding and appreciation of contemporary art. Artists are paired with critics, curators, gallerists, writers or other artists to converse about art and the potential of exploring new ideas.
