Richard Birkett, Curator at Artists Space, New York, will moderate an evening with the Berlin-based artist Judith Hopf. The program will include a presentation of several of Hopf's film and video works; and a conversation with the artist.

Judith Hopf (b. 1969) makes objects, installation, graphics, texts, performance and film works. She has exhibited widely, including solo exhibitions at the Secession, Vienna (2006); Portikus, Frankfurt (2007) and Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe (2008). Judith Hopf has won various grants and prizes and has been a scholarship-holder at Villa Aurora, Los Angeles in 2004. Since 2008 she has been Professor of Art at the Städelschule, Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Kunst, Frankfurt am Main. Her first U.S. solo exhibition, at Alex Zachary, New York, opens February 25.
