> DESCRIPTION

This year, the WIDE OPEN 2 BWAC exhibition was jurored by Nathan Trotman, Associate Curator at the Guggenheim Museum of Art. 141 pieces of art out of 1592 submissions were juried in. The BWAC exhibition space is located at 499 Van Brunt Street, Red Hook, Brooklyn, 11231, in the pre-Civil War warehouse overlooking the Statue of Liberty. Gallery Exhibition Dates: March 12 – 27, 2011, Weekends 11-4 P.M.
Opening Reception: Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 1-6 P.M.
By Transit: Both the B77 (G and F train to Smith/9th) and the B61 (A and F train to Jay Street) buses go to Van Brunt & Beard stop. Approximately 10 minutes by car from the brooklyn bridge: Brooklyn Bridge becomes Adams Street. Make a right on to Atlantic Avenue, left on to Columbia Street, right on to DeGraw. Left on to Van Brunt and continue on Van Brunt to end. From Brooklyn: Northwest on Hamilton Avenue and make a left on to Van Brunt. Continue on Van Brunt to end
