Maira Kalman: Various Illuminations (of a Crazy World) features 100 original drawings and paintings by illustrator, designer, and author Maira Kalman (b. 1949, Tel Aviv). Portraits of admired people, vibrant landscapes, and favorite interiors will be on view with illustrations from books such as What Pete Ate From A to Z and The Principals of Uncertainties. Kalman’s photography and textiles, as well as objects collected on her numerous travels around the world, will also be presented in this exhibition that highlights Kalman’s observations and reflections of contemporary life.
