TOPO 2: DISPLACEMENT locates the viewer in a landscape realm of fragmentation and absence. Comprised of video installation, wall installation, and sculpture, the exhibition considers how we displace ourselves from our current location to other real or imagined landscapes. The ultimate transmutation and absence of the body is marked as our final displacement. Winn Rea’s process-based environmental art has been exhibited internationally and supported by grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts and the Vermont Studio Center. Rea is Assistant Professor of Art and Director of Art Foundation at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University.
