Sperone Westwater is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by Bruce Nauman. For Children/For Beginners consists of both audio and video installations. These sculptures extend Nauman's ongoing artistic practice 'dating back to the 1960s' of incorporating conceptual and performative uses of language and the body.

This is Nauman's first gallery exhibition since winning the prestigious Golden Lion award for best national participation in the 2009 Venice Biennale, where he represented the United States with the exhibition Bruce Nauman: Topological Gardens. This is Nauman's tenth solo exhibition at the gallery since Sperone Westwater opened in 1975.
