Imán: Nueva York Fundación Proa – Buenos Aires
During the 1960s the artistic production was centered in New York, a fundamental location for the formation of the visual arts during the second half of the twentieth century. Many artists turned their attention to America and began an exchange, producing a separation from Europe, previous location for the foundation of historical avant-guards. Imán: Nueva York curated by Rodrigo Alonso, presents an overview focused on the leading artists who lived, visited, interacted and produced work during their youth, for the cultural birth of the Big Apple. With the support of Tenaris / Organización Techint.
