In this powerful exhibit curated by Director Marc Lambert, the Puffin Cultural Forum brings together works in various media by New York artists about urban life after 9/11 amidst heightened in/security, ever-changing cityscapes, urban decay, and modern beauty. Some of the artists had studio space in the World Trade Center; some had studios nearby. Through paintings, drawings, collages, photography, multimedia installations, and printmaking, these artists portray the emotional, economic, visual, and social ramifications of this world-changing historic moment as they reach forward with their art and their lives. Artists include Rob Swainston, Pamela Lawton, Todd Stone, Karina Aguilara Skvirsky, andTerrenceo. Opening reception includes conversation with the artists.
