Lautreamont Concerts: Focus on Mendelssohn
Mendelssohn was one of the most gifted composers the world has ever known, surpassing even Mozart in terms of precocity. Mendelssohn had a gift for writing lyrical melodies and for crafting carefully refined pieces. The two works on the program were written before he was thirty years old.
