> DESCRIPTION

Helene Mukhtar will show two sculptures made with paper casting and photo-transfer collage entitled: “ Summoning the Dragons ” and “Deep Inside the Cave”.

Helene Mukhtar is a mixed media New York artist with international roots.

Born in France, she now lives in Brooklyn and travels extensively in Europe as well as in the Indian Subcontinent. Her photographs are at the basis of her creative process.

Helene Mukhtar received her MFA from Florida State University. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and France.

Recent solo exhibitions include the 440 Gallery in Brooklyn, Galerie ArtSud in Toulouse, France and Ion Studio in Soho, NYC. She also participated in numerous group shows. Her work is in private collections in Florida, France and New York.
