Stephen Cimini returns to Jadite Galleries’ new gallery space to exhibit secrets in nature. This small study installation features 40 plus paintings, all 6 x 6 x 1.5 inches. Confined to these small canvases, the paintings continue to focus on the endless possibilities of composition and color .
Art Critic Ed McCormack of Gallery & Studio writes:
…[Cimini’s work] “is a radical approach in an era when so much so-called “far-out” art has ultimately proven surprisingly reactionary. Stephen Cimini’s integrity lies in his refusal to abandon the adventurous spirit of aesthetic discovery on which the best abstract painting was founded and on which it continues to thrive.”
A recent recipient of the Pollock-Krasner grant awarded to artists with established abilities, Cimini exhibits in New York City at Noho Gallery as well as various other galleries throughout the country. His work is held in corporate and private collections worldwide.
Pre-exhibition sales are being handled through the artist directly.
