This is LaBelle's first show at the gallery and is based on his daily life in Harlem. The center piece of the show is a series of drawings that depicts various buildings in the Harlem neighborhood, dubbed Sugar Hill in the 1920's. The drawings depict jazz clubs, bodegas, barbershops and other historic and iconic buildings. Also on display are maps that represent his daily walks through the neighborhood.
