Description of The MAC Knife Paintings
The 12 paintings listed above have been referred to by the artist as being Divine Interventions of The Gods.
The abstract paintings were created by first using a special MAC knife Technique TM to carve creative grooves into 32 x 40 foam boards. Then, by applying acrylic paints, one painting per day, the first twelve paintings were created to produce the titillating new series as presented above. The plan is to create additional paintings, one day at a time, until an undisclosed number of paintings are produced. The second set of twelve paintings as planned for next series will be titled Organic Interludes of Spring.
