Madrone is about art and infused cocktails. Under new ownership as of January ’09, this art lounge/bar features photography, video installation, design, fashion, spoken word, performance art, and painting. I went in there the day before the Bay to Breakers mess that would take over my street. The bartenders were knowledgeable and crafted refreshing cocktails that were as inventive, colorful and stimulating as the art on the walls.
