bengal donated to 219: the show

Artist Leila Singleton is a proud contributor to 219: The Show, going on tonight at Fine Line Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia. Organized by Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends (AARF), the exhibition is named for the 219 pets who die daily in Atlanta metro shelters. Artworks will be auctioned; proceeds benefit AARF programs. Singleton’s contribution, Bengal, is a framed print from her catalog of digital fine art photography. She donated in memory of Shidu, her boyfriend’s beloved Shar Pei who recently passed after 14 happy years, and in honor of her family’s Persian kitty Midnight, adopted from the Larimer Humane Society in 2001. Tickets are $20 and include a bottomless glass (wine, beer or other drinks), hors d'ouevres and one raffle ticket. The event runs from 7:30 to 11:00 PM.
