Description
Red Royalty Gallery is a brand new commercial art gallery specializing in contemporary Eastern European and Russian art. We are a salon-type gallery situated in the Lower East Side. Our vision is rooted back in art nouveau's eclectic philosophy and the tradition of totality and theatricality: wooden floors, decorated storefront windows, and high chandeliered ceilings, We are pushing for the timely transcension of the widely accepted white cube model for galleries, as we believe that this format has played its role in the history of art, and is slowly becoming dysfunctional.

We represent Bulgarian sculptor and painter Kremena Lefterova and Belarusain artist Victoria Kovalenchikova whose large-scale architectural paintings have been featured in more than 70 solo shows and group exhibitions in Belarus, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Italy, and Belgium.

We are looking for an intern to help the Director with a wide array of tasks such as PR and advertising, putting together applications for art fairs, preparing catalogs and organizing show openings, and talking to clients.
Application Instructions
Send your CV to radina@redroyaltygallery.com by May 6th. This is an 6-week spring internship starting May 10th with the option of extending it or making it into a commission-based sales job after the first month. Hours are flexible according to your work/study schedule. Russian speakers strongly encouraged to apply.
