Rebirth: Recent Work by Mariko Mori aims to revive the link that universally binds our consciousness regardless of language, custom, or location.
Sean Kelly is delighted to announce that, as part of the exhibition Rebirth: Recent Work by Mariko Mori at Japan Society Gallery in New York, Mariko Mori will present an exclusive, site-specific performance, entitled Oneness. The performance is related to the sculptural installation Ring in the indoor garden of Japan Society and reflects the concept of oneness explored in the exhibition, which aims to revive the link that universally binds our consciousness regardless of language, custom, or location. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 13 beginning at 7pm; the performance, which will last 20–30 minutes, will be followed by a reception. Attendees of this US premiere of Oneness will receive a token of participation from the artist.
