Distance Consultations for Visual Artists

Sessions: Thursday, January 17, 2013
Friday, January 18, 2013

New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) is pleased to announce Distance Consultations, a program designed to provide support for international and national artists living outside of NYC. The Distance Consultation Program has been developed in response to a need from artists who are unable to attend our popular program Doctor's Hours on site in Dumbo. Our inaugural session in October 2012 provided consultations for artists nationwide and internationally.

Participants will be able to book via phone or skype, one-on-one individual appointments with NYFA consultants. The sessions take place Thursday, January 17 and Friday, January 18 with experienced Doctor's Hours consultants Judith Page and Edwin Ramoran.(see bios below).

The session will provide an opportunity for practical advice and feedback on presentation of your work, your website or an upcoming application.8 appointments will be available during the day from 10am - 4pm. Each appointment is 30 minutes for $50 each. Participants can sign up for up to two appointments, limited to one with each consultant.
