Ryan Gander: The Happy Prince
Doris C. Freedman Plaza
Central Park, New York City
September 15, 2010 – April 10, 2011

Have a second look at another side of Gander’s broad practice in Central Park, where the artist has created a monument of a ruined monument. Sponsored by the Public Art Fund, the singular monolith has a literary reference to The Happy Prince, a parable by Oscar Wilde.
