Tired of expensive art?  Head uptown to Harlem and drop a few bucks for a drink and a bar stool at Minton's Playhouse, a jazz and tap dancing joint of legend since the 1930s.  Located on 118th Street between St. Nicholas Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, this place feels like stepping into an American set from the last century.  Aside from the atmosphere, the dancing and music is technically stunning, and the rather unexpected slew of remarkable young Asian tap dancers that share the stage as the night progresses introduces an interesting twist and flair.
