My practice continuously develops from events in my life. I have been investigating conceptually the exploration and implication of existence, the sense of limbo – a void - between absence and presence. Therefore the subject of my paintings is stimulated by my life, my loss, emotions and memories.
The subconscious projects itself through gestural marks and painting techniques. I choose to paint because the medium allows me to interrogate my practice both contextually and aesthetically. I make ab... [more]
