Ligaments, a print from artist Leila Singleton's collection of abstract digital photography, is featured on popular interior design blog Style Court. Today's post, titled "Green Day," features home accessories and artworks that are -- you guessed it! -- predominately green.

If you'd like to turn one of your rooms into a green getaway, Ligaments can be purchased at shopSCAD's Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia, galleries. Can't make it down to the South? Ligaments -- and two other prints by Singleton -- can be purchased online via the shopSCAD website.

bengal donated to 219: the show

Artist Leila Singleton is a proud contributor to 219: The Show, going on tonight at Fine Line Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia. Organized by Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends (AARF), the exhibition is named for the 219 pets who die daily in Atlanta metro shelters. Artworks will be auctioned; proceeds benefit AARF programs. Singleton’s contribution, Bengal, is a framed print from her catalog of digital fine art photography. She donated in memory of Shidu, her boyfriend’s beloved Shar Pei who recently passed after 14 happy years, and in honor of her family’s Persian kitty Midnight, adopted from the Larimer Humane Society in 2001. Tickets are $20 and include a bottomless glass (wine, beer or other drinks), hors d'ouevres and one raffle ticket. The event runs from 7:30 to 11:00 PM.

featured in 1000 handmade greetings

Four cards designed by artist Leila Singleton appear in Laura McFadden’s latest release, “1000 Handmade Greetings: Creative Cards and Clever Correspondence.” The book showcases greeting cards by “hundreds of leading paper artists, printers, and designers” executed in a wide array of media; Singleton’s designs exemplify this variety, appearing in the Fine Art, Collage & Mixed Media, and Print Gocco Cards sections of the book. Singleton began her collection of greetings, Twilight Cards, in high school (in fact, a card she painted as a 17-year-old is among the designs featured in 1000 Handmade Greetings) and she began selling them in small stores and coffee shops as a high school senior. Though not available for online purchase (yet), interested persons may contact the artist via her website, leilasingleton.com, to buy cards directly.
