Reception: December 6, from 5:30 to 7:30pm

 

The Artists Annual highlights the wide range of work from Berkeley Art Center's diverse community of artist members. Presented salon-style, this is a non-juried and inclusive exhibition that will include works in a variety of media. In the past, over 250 works have been exhibited in dynamic curatorial arrangements in the center's remarkable gallery space in North Berkeley.  

 

This year, we invite artists to consider consider the theme WONDER and submit one small work (18"x18") in order to provide space for an appropriate presentation.

In addition to participation in the Artists Annual, membership at the Artist Level ($55/year) gives you free admission to lectures and artist talks, discounted admission to other special events, and free submission privileges (up to five images) to BAC's annual juried exhibition. Taking clay and transforming its perceived nature, Richard Shaw also transforms the perception and meaning of object and use as these elements build to expand our associations and challenge our assumptions. Join us as Richard shares his work and process with us!
