ELISABETH RASS, photo artist from Vienna makes the queen of flowers to the protagonist in her series „WALTZ OF ROSES“: Symbol of worldly life, exuberant in her vividness of decaying.

HANNA SCHERIAU, visual artist from Salzburg and graduate of the legendary school of seeing by Oskar Kokoschka has dedicated herself to the experimental painting on silk. With her paintings she wants to open doors to the irrational side of life and to make visible the invisible feelings and emotions.

BERNHARD SCHINKO, painter, textile artist, photographer and metal artist from Austria loves to shape the various techniques and materials, to connect and to explore new avenues to realize his ideas and to make them come true.

HERWIG MARIA STARK, painter, graphic artist and designer born in Salzburg, based in Vienna expresses in his series „MULTIPLE MOMENTS“ through individual emotions and situations of the various characters the reaction of the individual on political and socio political circumstances.

Eight story tellers, which let you just divine the variety of artistic expression on current political, socio-cultural conditions.

The SALES POINT of BIENNALE AUSTRIA

“To enjoy art is timeless.”

The SALES POINT of BIENNALE AUSTRIA

In April 2012, the non-profit-association BIENNALE AUSTRIA started the project SALES POINT with a small group of providers from their own ranks. Meanwhile, the offer of SALES POINT has turned into a considerable size and diversity.

Currently Edeltrude Arleitner, Herbert Bauer, Liesbeth van Ginneken, Gerlinde Kosina, Regina Merta, Hannes Neuhold, Nicola Quici, Elisabeth Rass, Hanna Scheriau and Herwig Maria Stark offer original works or limited editions.

For anyone interested there are two ways to declare his interest in the works. You can get in contact either via the online form on the website of the Association BIENNALE AUSTRIA and or directly with the selling artist.

The SALES POINT is a virtual showroom for the members of Biennale Austria Association, whose offer can be modified or enlarged at any time.

The SALES POINT is an online sales platform, which does not replace the direct contact with the artist, but makes the offer of contemporary art more accessible to art lovers.

A virtual visit at SALES POINT of BIENNALE AUSTRIA www.biennaleaustria.org is timeless.

BEHIND THE DREAMS - Gerlinde Kosina, Elisabeth Rass, Herwig Maria Stark

February 19 – March 19, 2014

Opening: February 19, 5 - 8 pm

Galerie am Stubentor

Zedlitzgasse 3, 1010 Vienna

www.net-gallery.com

Gerlinde Kosina leads with their “TYPE PAINTINGS" composed of words and colors through life cycles and allows a glance behind. Words with powerful brush written on soaked in red canvas, dream sequences, thoughts dashing through the brain that you quickly forget again, have been retained. Powerful, life-affirming images encourage living dreams.

Elisabeth Rass deals in her series “MULTIPLE INTERFACE” with the perception of the familiar and the duplication into new life patterns. Reflections, play of light and shadow photographically recorded form themselves. New perspectives open up dimensions, invite one to make visions become real.

The “BEHIND" is one of the continuous messages in the work of Herwig Maria Stark. His protagonists always show a “Behind", often they are even visions of reality, mirror images of the present, losers or beneficiaries of "generational dreams" .

The Galerie am Stubentor, internationally known and appreciated since decades by a wide professional audience and friends of the work of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, is a member of Biennale Austria association.

SALES POINT of BIENNALE AUSTRIA members

Years ago it seemed inconceivable to offer contemporary art successfully at an online platform. Meanwhile the system has changed, art on international online platforms is successfully sold, online auctions conducted by reputable auction houses and potential clients are often “caught” by an artwork seen incidentally in the internet and this is an incentive to have a closer look at the artwork and to get in consequence in contact with the artist .

We are aware that direct purchase at the studio, at an exhibition or in a gallery cannot be completely replaced by an online selling platform, but it gives our members the opportunity to make their work accessible to a wider audience respectively to stimulate the interest and to give more security to potential clients that they acquire works from international renowned artists via BIENNALE AUSTRIA.

Under the respective names you will find selected works, which you can purchase directly via BIENNALE AUSTRIA association. The packaging and shipping costs, delivery time and shipping arrangements are provided in addition. The delivery of the work will be executed only and exclusively after payment.

The SALES POINT of BIENNALE AUSTRIA Members offers artworks by HERBERT BAUER, LIESBETH VAN GINNEKEN, GERLINDE KOSINA, HANNES NEUHOLD, NICOLA QUICI, ELISABETH RASS, HANNA SCHERIAU and HERWIG MARIA STARK.

You can announce your purchase intention directly using the form below or by e-mail to office@biennaleaustria.org . Subsequently you will receive a payment request from BIENNALE AUSTRIA with all necessary information. After your payment or receipt of payment the purchased artwork will be sent to the address stated by you.

If you prefer to purchase an artwork directly at the artist’s studio, this opportunity will be also at your disposal. For studio appointments please contact directly the artist.

We hope you enjoy your “Browse” on BIENNALE AUSTRIA members SALES POINT.
