Tercera Gallery is closing.
Dear Artists, Friends and Loyal Clients,
After more than thirty-one years, the time has come to close Tercera Gallery.
We’ve weathered many storms in the gallery business and quite frankly, we thought we had seen it all. As is true for many, the current economy is too much for even us seasoned veterans to manage.
Since 1978, we have had the pleasure of sharing outstanding contemporary art and craft with you, designing and providing custom framing services, “doing” your homes and/or offices, sharing our artists/clients, and making many friends. It has been our pleasure to work with you and we thank you for giving us such a rich experience over the last three decades.
We are indebted to so many of our faithful artists and to our loyal staff who have gone above and beyond the call of duty – Baker, Rosemary, Lacey, and of course, our Mom, who worked tirelessly with us for over eighteen years, running the gallery while maintaining the tradition of a family business.
Transitions often reveal a positive outcome. We are excited to say that the San Francisco Museum of Craft+Design is growing as we plan our 5th birthday celebration this fall, and as we prepare for an exciting move to the SoMa arts and cultural district. We look forward to updating you as we progress and we especially look forward to welcoming you to the San Francisco Museum of Craft+Design!
August 31st, 2009 will be our last day at 534 Ramona Street. Please check our web site www.terceragallerypaloalto.com for updates on discounts and sales in our ARTSTIMULUS SALE. Items, prices and availability are changing daily. Don’t hesitate to call us with any questions.
We thank you for so many good years.
JoAnn and Seb
