Alphonse Berber Gallery is pleased to announce "New Images of Man and Woman," a group exhibition of three iconic Bay Area figurative artists, Nathan Oliveira, Stephen de Staebler and William Theophilus Brown as well as four younger artists, featuring Ursula O'Farrell, Frances Lerner, Ryoko Tajiri, and Marianne Kolb. Like their paradigmatic forebears, the younger artists in this exhibition, create art which addresses the human condition. They continue and expand the traditional mediums of painting and sculpture with manifest and innovative energy.
