A new genre work of experimental fiction in exhibition format. Independent artist/curator York Chang investigates the intersection between art, politics & economic crisis in the first U.S. exhibition of the Visceral Realists, a controversial Latin American art collective active in Buenos Aires from 1999-2002, and obsessed with crossing the line between creativity and disaster. The exhibition includes significant examples of their work, an archive of their more controversial art actions, a documentary a leading member of the group, and a 96 page limited edition publication The Journal of Implied Violence.
