Togonon Gallery is pleased to present “San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) Revisited”. The show highlights works of distinguished artists in painting, sculpture, printmaking and photography who have studied or taught at the prestigious San Francisco Art Institute over the last 50 years. This exhibition coincides with the San Francisco Decorator Showcase exhibition entitled “History of San Francisco Art Institute” from April 25-May 25, 2009.

The Togonon Gallery exhibition is divided in two parts: featuring painting sculpture and works on paper from May 12 to May 30, 2009, and featuring photography from June 2 to June 28, 2009. Notable established artists include Deborah Remington, Peter Forakis, Leo Valledor, David Johnson, and Younhee Paik. Emerging artists include Lori del Mar, Servando Garcia, Steve Baibak, Xuchi Naungayan Eggleton and Ben Needham.

For over 15 years, the Togonon Gallery has focused on exhibiting Bay Area artists. This exhibition reiterates the gallery’s commitment to the visual culture of the Bay Area.
