The artists in this group incorporate science into their artistic creations. Their work draws and evolves inspiration from scientific phenomena.
Their artistic processes embrace searching and experimenting with new materials and concepts. In a way their methods are similar to a scientific experiment. The final piece is a combination of experimental creation, intuition, imagination and many unpredicted results along the way.
The artists are interested in forming collaborations with Caltech researchers for new works that would be shown at a follow-on exhibition in the summer:
