Glen Fogel, born 1977 in Denver, lives and works in Brooklyn. He received an MFA from The Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College in 2010. His exhibition, With Me... You, originated at Participant INC, NY in 2011 and traveled in revised and expanded forms to the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston and then to the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art, OR, with the title My Apocalyptic Moment. Other solo exhibitions have been hosted at The Kitchen and at Momenta Art, NY. His work has been included in significant group exhibitions such as the 2002 edition of the Whitney Biennial, and Coming After at The Power Plant, Toronto. His work has also been exhibited at Sikkema Jenkins, White Columns, Artists Space, and the Museum of Modern Art, all NY. His films have screened in the Toronto and London International Film Festivals among many other festivals internationally. Fogel has received grants from the MAP Production Fund, the Rema Hort Mann Foundation, and was a recipient of the 2009 Princess Grace Award. Upcoming, he has a Bloom Project at the Contemporary Arts Forum Santa Barbara, CA.
