SUR: Biennial is the first art exhibition in Los Angeles to focus on local contemporary artists who have descended, lived, worked and/or been inspired by countries South of the U.S. border. SUR: Biennial will showcase new, creative works of local Latino artists and also non-Latino artists who found inspiration in cultures South of the border. Co-founded by Ronald Lopez, Executive Director to Outpost for Contemporary Art and Robert Miller, Gallery Director/Art professor at Rio Hondo College. SUR: Biennial will highlight specifically the impact of South of the border Latino culture and its influence on art.
