Please join us in this rare evening to celebrate the adoption of Gary Wilson by the Human Ear Music family and the release of his full-length album (with all new material 4 years in the making) on Human Ear Music.  Opening acts will be kindred spirit Ariel Pink and label organizers Julia Holter and Jason Grier.

Age: 21+

About Gary Wilson:

Considered a father figure by countless independent musicians worldwide, Gary Wilson's 25-year career as an uncompromising and sometimes baffling recording personality is once again embraced, appropriately enough, by visionary record label Human Ear Music.  Wilson has yet to veer from the spirit of his first self-recorded and self-produced release in 1977 (You Think You Really Know Me),  releasing two daring albums (Forgotten Lovers [2003] and Mary Had Brown Hair [2004] ) and recording a wealth of unreleased material throughout and following two decades of self-imposed  exile.

About Human Ear Music:

Human Ear Music is an independent record label dedicated to the musical, visual, and multimedia practices of visionary and self-reliant artists.
